Call for nominations: Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 class of 2022
Forbes Africa is calling for nominations for this year’s 30 Under 30 class.
The Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list is an annual selection of 30 of the continent’s brightest achievers under the age of 30 across various fields including creative arts, business, technology, sport and health. It celebrates visionaries and innovators who build brands, create jobs and transform the continent in their respective fields.
“The Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 is the most coveted list of the year, and the 2022 edition will mark eight years of it,” Forbes Africa managing editor Renuka Methil said. “We are particularly excited to unravel the treasure trove of talent that these tough times have created. Success has not been a given for these frontrunners in the pandemic period. Faced with innumerable hiccups and setbacks, they have rolled up their sleeves and made their work matter, also lifting others on their way up.”
Individuals can now choose more than one category to apply for. Nominees who are creatives trying to find innovative ideas using digital landscapes to showcase art may choose the creative and technology sectors. If a nominee is a sports star with a business aimed at uplifting the sports sector, they must choose sports and business.
Past honourees of the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list include musicians Mr Eazi, Davido, Wizkid, Sho Madjozi, Nasty C, Kabza De Small and Burna Boy, among others.
The application deadline is 1 February.
Nominations can be made via Forbes Africa’s official website.
