Call for submissions: African Journal of Intellectual Property (AJIP)
The African Journal of Intellectual Property (AJIP), a peer-reviewed scholarly publication jointly produced by Africa University and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO), invites article submissions for its upcoming issues. The journal is published bi-annually, in June and December, and accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis.
- Articles are accepted on a rolling basis.
AJIP addresses the increasing demand for rigorous academic and practice-based research on various dimensions of intellectual property (IP) in Africa. It provides a dedicated platform for African scholarship and encourages contributions from universities, research institutions, legal practitioners, policymakers, judicial officers, and other stakeholders engaged in IP policy, administration, enforcement, and management.
In addition to traditional IP subjects such as patents, trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, and traditional knowledge, AJIP also welcomes interdisciplinary submissions. Topics that intersect IP with areas such as public health, education, food security, the environment, and sustainable development are particularly encouraged, with the aim of bridging existing gaps in academic discourse.
