Gambian singer starts student career scheme

“It is,” said Silky Crise “my duty to help students to develop their careers while going to school to choose a career they feel is best for them.”

He added that there are plans to make the career development forum an annual event. The plans include bringing relevant persons to discuss about career development for students.

“We call on all stakeholders to come on board and partner with us to forge ahead in inspiring students on their career,” he said.

Silky Crise’s management said the career development is part of the series of activities they are undertaking ahead of the launch of his debut album Reason on 11 December at Penchamii Hall, located outside of Banjul.

“So we want to give back to the public especially the young ones by inspiring them on their future plans,” the management team concluded.
