Gambia's Magnificent Joe touring Europe

The tour, which would last two months, began in Austria at the Na Nang Entertainment Center in Vienna at the end of September. 

Speaking shortly after his first concert, Magnificent Joe saluted his European fans for supporting his music and showing love and appreciation for Gambian music broadly.

Smiling in front of the cameras, he expressed happiness and promised his fans in Vienna a second coming.

“It’s a great feeling. I thank my fans for making me proud and showing love to my music. This is a manifestation of the power of positive vibes,” he said.

The Gambian act will be working with a German producer for his next project. Five songs have been recorded and he regards the upcoming project as a move in the right direction in terms of his career.

"The project is a great step for me and my music business," he said. "Music knows no boundaries so my mission is to take the message around the world and influence positive behaviour. It's a dream come true, as all my fans out there in Europe and beyond have always wished to see me live with them."

The singer also expressed a wish to perform at international festivals. The award-winning singer is expected to fly back to the Gambia in November before returning to Germany for the second phase of the project.
