Gambia's Nu Chilly is Artist of the Year again

The award is annually organised by the Interface Gambia television crew based in UK and honours Gambians who have done well in the preceding months.

It is the second time in two years that Nu Chilly has been handed the award by the organisers, having picked up the award last year.

"I thank God the Almighty," he said upon receiving the award, "who made it possible to win Artist of the Year Music Award for the second time in a row with the support of all my fans worldwide, family and friends, not forgetting the blessings from mum who is constantly praying for the betterment of my career."

He added, "I feel so loved right now, I personally wish I can reach out to each and every one of you shake hand and say thank you" before commending the award organisers and his team.

“I'm wishing you all a happy new year and many more returns," he said. "A lot more on your way this year and I dedicate this Award to Flag Flow High Senegambia, GSC Records and Sundland Music."
