Ghana: DopeNation drops GhanaPiano EP

The seven-track effort blends highlife, Afrobeats, Afro-fusion and amapiano, with fellow rappers Sarkodie and Medikal as featured guests. 

“GhanaPiano emerges as a testament to DopeNation’s creativity and mastery in crafting infectious melodies that effortlessly cross genres,” a statement reads. “The EP showcases the twin brothers’ exceptional songwriting and production prowess, fusing vibrant rhythms.

“Each track on the EP carries its own distinctive flavour, offering a rich canvas of emotions and stories that reflect the intricacies of life and the vibrant culture of Ghana.”

DopeNation, who won Group of the Year and Afrobeats Song of the Year at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, says the project marks a significant step forward in their artistic journey.

Active since 2016, the pair is renowned for creating hit tracks for the likes of Ebony Reigns, Edem, Shatta Wale and Mr Eazi. Other successful songs from them include ‘Zanku’, ‘Eish’, ‘Naami’, and ‘Thank God’.
