Janzi Awards 2021 in Uganda: All the nominees

The awards seek to celebrate the creative industry and its role in creating employment as well as its significance to the economy.

The nominees are in nine categories, including music, books and publishing, performing arts, film and video, cultural and national heritage, and software and innovations.

Ugandan saxophonist and co-founder of the Afrigo Band Moses Matovu will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to Uganda’s music industry.
