Kenya: Tarrus Riley to headline Koroga Festival
Jamaican-American reggae artist Tarrus Riley will headline the 30th edition of Koroga Festival taking place at The Garden in Naivasha, Kenya, from 23 to 26 June.
The four-day entertainment extravaganza has been dubbed The WRC Koroga Festival because it will be held during the Safari Rally weekend. The event will be held at a recreational village where rally and music fans will be entertained during the Kenyan leg of the World Rally Championship.
“We will bring together the best Kenyan DJs and the best artists to give fans the opportunity to enjoy the Safari Rally on a totally different level,” Koroga Festival project director Farida Idris said.
Kenyan artists on the line-up include mugithi singer Samidoh, Burukylyn Boyz, Otile Brown, Kamanu, Gravitti Band and Nviiri The Storyteller. DJs G Money, Protege and Adrian will also be on hand before the main act brings the event to a close.
“The WRC Koroga Festival will be a four-day food, fashion and music festival that will bring us the best talent from across the continent to showcase the best we have from here in Kenya and around the region,” Idris said.
