Kenya: Voting opens for Founder of the Year Awards

The annual awards celebrate outstanding young entrepreneurs from Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Ghana, who create jobs by delivering practical and commercially viable solutions that are innovative and sustainable.

There are 14 categories, including the Entertainment Founder of the Year Award, which cater to two age groups: 20 to 30 and 31 to 40. 

This edition will run under the theme, Believe. “We want to believe in your ideas, young people, startups, empowerment, impact, businesses and founders,” the organisers said. “We believe that young people are a force for change and can create a change in society through innovative and transformational solutions to solve problems, mostly unemployment and poverty eradication. Join us and find someone to believe in, and together we will impact our communities.”
