The Best Thing In The World is dedicated to GirlKing’s late parents Siduduzo Roseman and Gugu Rosemary Mncube.

“My music was inspired by the desire to share my gift of music with the world,” GirlKing told Music In Africa. “I believe I have voice and a message that this generation needs to hear. This generation needs to hear from the Lord like never before and I believe that my life is a message many can and will be able to identify with.

“I seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world through my music. To bring joy and hope, healing and deliverance to all those who are in need of it through my music. The ultimate goal being for the nations of the world to hear His message through my voice.”

GirlKing, born Ntombinkosi Mncube, is a practicing lawyer and member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates. Her early childhood was spent in the Clermont Township in KwaZulu-Natal, where she discovered her love of music while singing in the church choir. 

Known for her soulful voice, coupled with her unique and authentic style, she has developed a strong following among local artists, churches, and higher education institutions. Thulani Shezi, Swazi Dlamini, Nhlanhla Sibisi, Thulani Ga Ndlela and Nathi Zungu are some of the artists she has worked with in the past.
