The record contains three lead singles ‘Amaphiko Ezono’ and ‘Inkumbulo’ featuring Azana as well as ‘Oh Boy’ featuring Starr Healer. Prince Kaybee’s mastery is evident in the album as he manages to seamless blend African house flavour and give it a global appeal. Other tracks include ‘Mpendulo’, ‘Rhythm Expression’ and ‘Hatau Tau’.
Hailing from Senekal, Free State, Prince Kaybee’s journey began as a self-taught producer, armed with nothing but a laptop and an insatiable passion for electronic dance music. His rise to stardom was propelled by a series of chart-topping hits, including the iconic collaboration with Lady Zamar on ‘Charlotte’, which garnered widespread acclaim and catapulted him into the limelight.
His infectious tracks, such as ‘Club Controller’ featuring LaSoulMates, TNS, and Zanda Zakuza, have dominated the airwaves and dance floors across the globe. With the ability to fuse genres and push musical boundaries, he consistently delivers the kind of commercial hits.
In 2021, Prince Kaybee released his highly collaborative fourth album, The 4th Republic, which was hailed as masterpiece and testament to his creative genius. The project received overwhelming praise from fans and critics alike.
