Namibian Annual Music Awards 2019: All the winners
The winners for the 2019 edition of the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMAs) were announced at The Dome, in Swakopmund at the weekend.
Lize Ehlers is the biggest winner in the Artist of The Year, Best Female Artist of The Year and Best House categories. Following with two awards each are Gazza, Exit, Top Cheri and KK. Gazza triumphed in the Best Afro Pop and Best Song of The Year categories while Exit came tops in the Best Kwaito and Best Male Artist of The Year.
The Best Newcomer and Best Album of the Year awards went to Top Cheri. KK took home the Best Single and Best Music Video gongs. Stoney Mubiana and the late South African artist Brenda Fassie were honoured with Lifetime Achiever’s Award and NAMA Special Award respectively.
The Pan African Artist of the Year award went to South African hip hop artist AKA. Other winners in different categories are Jaleel, Gerry Dread, Skrypt, DJ Chronic and Tswazis.
