Open call: Artist entrepreneur incubator programme
Pan-African arts organisation Àkójọpọ̀ is inviting African arts administrators to register for its Artist Entrepreneur Incubator Programme, which will be held virtually on Zoom for 10 weeks.
The transformative programme is tailored for African arts administrators who are in the early stages of developing innovative ideas. This is a free programme that seeks to provide professional development opportunities that support the growth and global integration of pan-African music.
Programme highlights
Professional development sessions: The professional development sessions will be held every Saturday at 6pm WAT. These sessions will offer expert guidance and resources to help turn the participants’ ideas into impactful projects.
Virtual internships: Selected participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on arts administration experience through virtual internships at partnering arts organisations. These internships will be tailored to develop their skills in specific areas of arts administration that interest them. Although internships will be unpaid in the inaugural year, Àkójọpọ̀ aims to provide stipends for selected participants in future iterations.
