Register to watch Mokoomba and Tofa Jaxx live

The showcases, which are grouped by theme, launched on 5 May and will run until 14 May. Tanzania’s Tofa Jaxx will be live on 12 May at 7.30 CAT and is programmed under the theme Compelling Voices, which features unique and soulful artists representing an array of intriguing sounds.

Zimbabwean band Mokoomba will perform on 13 May at 7.30 CAT under the theme Crossing Roots, which showcases artists whose music explores and reconfigures traditions.

Each showcase is limited to a certain number of attendees. A post-performance Zoom session featuring AGIMA agents and some of their artists will take place with each event. 

“We encourage you to share your specific questions or comments or sit back and enjoy the conversation as it unfolds,” the organisers said. “We look forward to you joining us for a festive celebration of extraordinary music and conversation.”

AGIMA is a newly formed consortium of 13 agents and managers from Europe and the US collaborating to showcase artists from all over the world to uplift, inspire and share during these challenging times. “AGIMA invites promoters to discover new acts for their future programming,” Delicious Tunes founder Stefanie Schumann said.
