Register for WIPO copyright webinars
The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, has launched a series of webinars on copyright infrastructure, which will take place between November and January.
The biweekly series will feature a number of speakers from the public and private sector on a range of topics relevant to copyright infrastructures, such as metadata, identifiers, technology solutions and WIPO services.
The webinars will be open to member states, observers and the general public. The sessions will include a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
To participate in the upcoming webinars, interested participants should register by selecting the corresponding links below after which they will receive a Zoom invitation:
- A European Perspective on Copyright Infrastructure – This session will take place on 17 November and interested individuals can register here.
- Identifiers, Metadata and IT Solutions for Sound Recordings – This session will take place on 1 December and interested individuals can register here.
- DDEX And Standard-Setting Related to the Digital Music Value Chain – This session will take place on 15 December and interested individuals can register here.
- Rights Data and Identifiers for Performers – This session will take place on 19 January 2022 and interested individuals can register here.
Meanwhile, WIPO has launched the Young Experts Programme (YEP), which is aimed at forging the next generation of intellectual property (IP) leaders. More information is available here.
