SA: Kwesta, Black Motion and Shekhinah confirmed for 2019 Big Picnic 

The event, which will run under the theme Urban Oasis, seeks to celebrate music, food and fashion.

Confirmed artists include rapper Kwesta, Black Motion and Shekhinah. The outdoor event will be hosted by MTV Africa VJ Kim Jayde and BET Africa personality Nomalanga Shozi.

“MTV Africa is the cultural home of the millennial generation music fans and artists, and through this partnership with the Strongbow MTV Big Picnic we are creating an exclusive experience that will see our audiences enjoy this infusion of fresh brands in an iconic Joburg setting like no other,” vice president of youth, music and BET at Viacom International Media Networks Africa, Monde Twala said. 

Marketing manager for cider brands at Heineken SA, Lance Dodgen added: “The first Big Picnic event held in November 2018 was beyond our expectations and we have no doubt that this year it will once again bring the power of nature into Jozi and give everyone a refreshing experience.”
