The tour marks another milestone in the artist’s growing international career and follows the success of his debut EP Seasons, which achieved six-times platinum status in South Africa. Known for his emotive performances and soulful pop sound, Lloyiso will perform in Belgium (Brussels), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Berlin), the United Kingdom (London), and Norway (Oslo).
The upcoming project, Never Thought I Could, is expected to continue Lloyiso’s introspective storytelling, exploring themes of self-discovery and resilience. Reflecting on the record, he said the music is “a reflection of the battles I’ve fought within myself”, adding that it also addresses mental health and personal growth.
The European tour follows a busy year for Lloyiso, who recently completed his sold-out Elephant in the Room tour in South Africa, attracting more than 15 000 attendees across five cities. Earlier in 2024, he collaborated with Clean Bandit on the single ‘Believe’, showcasing his vocal range to a wider international audience.
Lloyiso’s growing reputation as one of Africa’s leading soulful pop artists has been supported by a series of high-profile releases. His debut EP Seasons earned him a South African Music Award for Best Pop Album, while his collaboration with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix on Real Love surpassed 100 million streams. He currently boasts over three million TikTok followers and 810 000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
The announcement coincides with the release of his latest single ‘Scary’, available now on all major streaming platforms.
