Soundcity MVP Awards Fest: All the nominees

Other nominees are Zlatan (Nigeria), Betty G (Ethiopia), Otile Brown (Kenya), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Innoss B (DRC), Sarkodie (Ghana) and Kwesta (South Africa), among others. 

The organisers of the awards have introduced non-voting accolades in multiple categories, including Special Recognitions in Business Entrepreneurship, Sports, Fashion, Social Entrepreneurship/Digital Influence, Community/Socio-political Development, and Creative Arts.

"This year’s edition of the Soundcity MVPs promises to bring our fans the best performances from the hottest musical acts on the continent," event producer Adeniji Daniel said. "Also in the bag of surprises will be international show hosts, unexpected collaborations and buzzworthy pop culture moments that will definitely have the world talking for a long time to come."

The event will be aired live on Soundcity TV (DStv channel 327) to an estimated 25 million viewers across the continent.
