Sun-El Musician drops African Electronic Dance Music album

Featured artists on the album are Msaki, Ami Faku, Yamisava, Bholoja, Simmy and Linos Rosetta.

“African Electronic Dance Music, to me, is not just a sound that designates a single genre but more of a sound that encompasses a style of African elements infused with EDM, but it’s a modern way of exporting the African dance sound (house music) to the rest of the world through giving it that African traditional element of drums, rhythm, and culture,” Sun-El Musician said.

The 11-track album is interspersed with some strong electronic and Afro-house instrumentals and some striking new driving tracks. Some of the featured songs include ‘Bestfriend’, ‘Higher’ and ‘I Like It Anyway’ featuring Ami Faku.

The album follows Sun-El Musician’s 2020 offering To the World and Beyond, which earned him nominations, awards and over 50 million streams.
