T-Classic releases first EP with Sony Music West Africa
Sony Music West Africa's (SMWA's) latest signee, T-Classic, has released his debut album Underrated (The EP).
- T-Classic's Underrated (The EP) is available on all major digital streaming platforms.
The EP was released on all major digital platforms on 21 February.
On 7 February, T-Classic signed a deal with the record label, which hinted at the EP's release later in February.
Underrated (the EP) comprises five tracks and its theme expresses the life of a young African. It talks about hustle, money, fame and gratitude. The tracks feature Nigerian pop stars Mayorkun and Peruzzi on the lead single ‘Where You Dey’. The other track titles are ‘Why’, ‘Underrated’, ‘Owo’ and 'LyKaDu'.
The EP was engineered by the trio of Iambeatz, Killertunes and Mowizzy, and their collaborative efforts can be said to have heightened T-Classic's artistic range.
T-Classic burst onto the Nigerian music scene in 2017 with the singles 'I Want You' and 'Isabella'. Since then, he has gained widespread recognition and an impressive fan base in West Africa. Last year, he won the Song of the Year Award for the hit ‘Nobody Fine Pass You’ at City People Entertainment Awards.
The smooth singer is still basking in the glory of the Detty December party in Lagos where he featured alongside some of the Nigerian music industry’s biggest names.
