Ugandan star Hajjat Madina ailing

Uganda’s singing sensation Hajjat Madina of the ‘Bibuuza’ hit-song fame is ailing. She was recently admitted to Mulago and Kadic hospitals for treatment. According to the doctors, she had a blood clot in her head that needed to be dissolved.

It was a procedure that saw her leave hospital frail and weak, needing help to get around. In addition it had dealt her music a blow because she almost lost her voice, meaning she may no longer be able to sing. According to ugandaonline.net she is now suffering from fatigue and slurred speech.

“I need your prayers because as of now I am at God’s mercy…I ‘m so hurt, I might not be able to sing again,” she said from her home on Salaama Road in Makindye.

Hajjat started off her career with Bebe Cool's Gagamel Crew. She later joined Eddy Kenzo's Big Talent before coming out on her own.
