Mahlatse Totem is a multi-talented entertainer, a computer sciences graduate from Vaal University of Technology. A self-taught DJ who has a passion for house music songs that are mainly about "Love & Life", started music production late 2019 to meet the needs of the ever-changing entertainment industry, Mahlatse Totem aims to create educational entertainment content in forms of digital media & live talent events on a full time basis. Began to strictly love house music at the age of 8, since then never stopped climbing the ladder to learn & showcase his talents and skills. Mahlatse Totem is a comedian, influencer, advisor, motivational speaker, music producer, DJ, singer, computer scientist, actor, film maker, presenter, soccer Player, Master of Ceremonies & writer.
I am passionate about Technology, Music and Comedy and has worked for the Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries as a Software Developer in 2015, Gijima between 2016 & 2018 and then participated in a Software Development learnership at T-Systems Academy between 2019 & 2020.
I went to Boikhutšo Primary School in Indermark from grade 1-3, Tshepisa Primary School from grade 4-5 and did grade 6-7 at Bonaero Primary School. Did grade 8 at Rhodesfield Technical High School then went to Bokamoso Secondary School from grade 9-12 in Tembisa.
I’ve been a guest host at Hillbrow Radio & ActonVille FM, now I’m a show presenter at ActonVille FM. My Amapiano single titled "United South Africa" is in all digital platforms, DSTV music video channels & majority of radio stations in South Africa. My short film of “My Rode Reel” competition is on YouTube called “That Almighty Angel”. I also have experience with BlueDot selling My Life Funeral Cover telephonically for 12 months to clients all over South Africa using leads as a salesperson.
