Call for applications: VUCA@Goethe resilience programme in SA
Creatives in South Africa are invited to apply for the VUCA @ Goethe resilience programme, which is geared towards helping seasoned creative, social, and cultural entrepreneurs to build resilient operations in the current changing and volatile business environment.
The intensive three-month virtual programme is courtesy of Goethe-Institut South Africa, through the Cav’ Creative Economies project and in partnership with Hub @ Goethe.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify entering this programme, the applicant should:
- Be a creative, cultural and/or social entrepreneur.
- Have a legally registered entity with the Companies and Intellectual Property (CIPC).
- Be post-revenue or early growth stage.
- Have been operating for a minimum of 12 months.
- Be above the age of 18 and eligible to work in the Republic of South Africa if not a citizen of the country.
- Be willing to participate in a virtually gathered community of entrepreneurs.
- Preferably have and/or get access to a stable internet connection.
What to expect from the programme
Should an applicant be selected to participate in this programme, they should sign up for the following:
- Entrepreneur Support & Development: Each business will receive one-on-one business coaching and strengths coaching alongside the cohort group coaching sessions.
- Virtual Entrepreneur Community: The entrepreneurs will have peer review workshops and build a virtual learning community
- Resilience Stipend: Each business will be given a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.
