The Drama Factory and F Creations have been involved in producing plays for festivals around South Africa for several years.
“We felt that it was time to give back and provide a space for artists to put on their work,” a joint statement reads. “The Drama Factory has been a receiving space that encourages new work and new talent since its inception. The theatre has also operated as a producing house, bringing several productions to life. The next logical step in producing for the theatre was to create a festival that nurtures local talents and continues to create jobs in the arts sector.”
