Bio
A'maal Nuux is an R&B singer from Mogadishu, Somalia.
Born in Mogadishu, Nuux migrated to Toronto, Canada with her family in 1991. She sings in English and her music is about social issues in her country. She draws her musical influences from Celine Dion. She earned fame when some of her songs went viral on YouTube and Facebook. In 2012, she released her debut EP entitled 'Painful Secrets'.
She attended the University of Toronto where she majored in international development studies.
