Call for nominations: Africa Event Awards 2022

The scheme is put together by EventGuide Africa, which has been responsible for the Ghana Event Awards over the past five years. It aims at rewarding event excellence, and spotlighting and celebrating the works of event organisers in the continent. 

“The award ceremony seeks to bring businesses and event people together to honour them while sharing ideas on how to project tourism across Africa to the world,” a statement reads.

The call is open to event organisers from all African countries and will present awards in more than 20 categories, including Event of the Year, Event Performer of the Year, and Best Event DJ, among others. 

The deadline for nomination is 30 August.

Individuals and event organisers can file for nominations via the scheme’s official website as well as via @africaeventawards on Instagram, @eventguidefrica on Facebook, and across all social media handles.
