Celeste Ojatula

My name is Ojatula Opeyemi Celestina and my stage name is Celeste Ojatula. I am a Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, I grew up in a family where the taste in music was diverse. I listened from high life sounds to Jazz, Rock, and Soul. I was also exposed to traditional tales by moonlight songs and stories, all of which has influenced my sound.

My primary genre is Indie-Folk. Asides music, I am a short-story writer, content developer, and poet; my website, myidlepen.com. I am currently an ambassador for Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI), an NGO working towards the awareness of mental health in Nigeria and VOICE2REP (an NGO advocating for good governance in Nigeria).
