Call for applications: Music Crossroads Mozambique coordinator

Interested candidates should be passionate about working in a youthful multicultural environment. MOVE (Musicians and Organisers Volunteer Exchange) is an exchange programme between JM Norway and its sister organisations Music Crossroads – in Malawi and Mozambique – and Sustenidos in Brazil. The programme exchanges musical and organisational skills, equipping participants with new tools and intercultural understanding to enrich them and their local cultural communities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in intercultural communication among young people.
• Proven training in community development programmes, intercultural communication among young people and or other similar areas.
• Have experience in the management of individual conflict, in groups and in the work environment.
• Mastery of spoken and written English.
• High sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Availability to work in a variety of locations anytime when called to.
• Good communication skills and empathy.
• Computer proficiency.
