Bio

Involved in the African music promotion since 1997, Fortuné Degbegni has made a significant contribution to the success of numerous editions of the Kora - All African Music Awards. From Line Producer to Chief Operations Officer, he has played a central role in organizing this continental event in various locations in South Africa including Sun City, Johannesburg, and Durban, where he also served as Deputy Executive Producer.

Additionally, he brought his expertise as Deputy Executive Producer to the memorable FESPAM 2003 edition held in Brazzaville.

In 2006, Fortuné Degbegni founded Excel Communications, an events and communication agency based in Benin.

After a venture into promoting African beauty and culture, he has made a grand return to the field of promoting and empowering African music. His approach now focuses on the development of the continental music industry.
