Skiezy Ayenkea

Tardzenyuy Bernard Ayenkea who goes by the stage name Skiezy Ayenkea was born in Ndzenso, Kumbo May 19th. He is a holder of a Bachelors of Literature in English obtained from the University of Buea with a minor in Performing and Visual Arts. Skiezy is a rapper and singer who use to belong to a group called Nascent Boyz with his partner King Roy Parker who started their musical career in 1999/2000.

His debut songs were recorded in 2002 but it can’t be found online cause social media had no impact yet and he had it on tape recorders which are no longer relevant.

He grew up in Bonaberi – Douala precisely Nkomba- Mabanda. Music has always been his first wife and he has never relented his effort to leave his footprint in the industry. With Nascent Boyz, they worked with great producers like Timo Bass, Darice Etang, Z-Lex Blacson, DEA the Busker, Slim Beat, Djudi etc. Some of the songs they released back then include; Climax ft Why Tomah; First Lady ft Cervel Ganster; I be don tell you; Trap , Ali Bomaye among others which can be found on Soundcloud.

After a long pause, and being in the diaspora, he made a comeback in 2016 as an independent artiste and a name change from Sky Dady to Skiezy Ayenkea and his first project was a Double Cover which later on gave birth to a his first independent project titled “The Chase” in 2018.

In other to valorize his culture, people and his traditional Language Lamnso, he decided to get to his roots on one of his long term vacation in Cameroon which saw the birth of his project titled “Kimankar” in 2020. “Kimankar” was his way of celebrating culture and advising the youths on virtues and vices. Three videos from this project were shot and released in 2022 ie WULOLO Ft Spido, NGWASSANG Ft AV Hovy and TANGNIN Ft Wan Shey. Aside his projects he has released couple of videos jumping on challenges launched by other kamer artiste with also a couple of cyphers.

With Covid putting the world on its knees, he decided to go dig in another part of him that was left behind that is his singing side. It is a part of him most people on the media don’t know about that is the RnB singer. 2022 saw the birth of his third project titled “Da Heart Beatz” which presented a softer Skiezy. Aside this project, he was working on a new project which is ready and will drop next year which is titled “Beri”.
