Joyous Celebration for gospel fans in Pretoria

South African gospel choir MTN Joyous Celebration will serenade fans at Time Square's Sun Arena in Pretoria, South Africa, on the 20th of October.

The award-winning ensemble, which is expected to sing songs from its 22-album catalogue, will perform at an event dubbed MTN Joyous Celebration 22 - The Special.

“This is not going to be the same show we’ve been presenting [throughout 2018],” MTN Joyous Celebration co-founder Lindelani Mkhize says. “It is going to be a power-packed production which will feature guest appearances by some of our fans’ all-time favourite members who have graced our stage in the past. We have also enlisted spiritual leaders as part of The Special to offer our thanksgiving for the extended Joyous family as a whole.”

MTN Joyous Celebration co-founder and cast member Pastor Hlongwane took the opportunity to thank fans for their unwavering support.

“We are in awe at how the grace of God is always with us. The support has been humbling and astounding,” Hlongwane says. “We are grateful for the love our fans have given us, which has carried us from city to city as we performed throughout the length and breadth of the country and beyond this year.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to return to Pretoria after all these years and promise our fans an unforgettable music experience.”
