Diana Bada

Diana (Lolade) Bada is a Nigerian singer. She was born to a Nigerian father and a singing Russian mother. Her music incorporates hip-hop, jazz, poetry and reggae into what she terms afrosoul. The graduate of Business Administration & Business Studies plays with a live band.

In 2008, Bada was part of a talent competition that featured rappers MI, Kel and Terry Rapman as well as singers Durella, Waje and Terry G. She has worked with music professionals in Europe and Africa, touring in the former as part of the Gimme Shot Crew.

Her first album ‘Wardrobe Sessions’ (featuring the single ‘Bounce’) was released in 2011. She has followed up the debut with a second, ‘Be’ (2014). It contains the single ‘Pressure Island’ (2015) featuring rapper Godwon.
