Tiwonge Hango

Tiwonge Hango is an artist from Malawi. His music is unique within the country's music circles. He sings about hope, unity and love. Before pursuing a solo career as a musician, he was part of a group known as Tikhu Vibrations. Many know him as an artist who was at the helm of Tikhu Vibrations.

His live performances captured audiences through his entertaining dance routines, traditional dancing regalia. The group became popular for using modern instruments that were fused with rhythms and vocals both from African and Western varieties.

In 2014, he won the Up Coming Musician of the Year Award.
