Vj Ice

VJ Ice (real name Anthony Malisawa) is one of the celebrated Award Winning DJ in Malawi. He is a co-founder of King of the Nights which is a team of DJs. He is also a producer, video director and one of the most creative and talented youth Malawi has ever produced.

He have worked for private, corporate, diplomats events and biggest festivals in Malawi. To mention a few like Airtel Malawi Live Facebook party during the cover 19 pandemic time of lockdown 2020, Sunbird hotels(Lilongwe and Salima), USA Marines Ball, 4th July Independence, St Patricks Day, Lake of stars and Sand music festival.

While growing, he had dreams of becoming a producer. This prompted him to join the school band at the age of seven. His primary inspirations are Chipiliro Khonje, Ron CZ and Essim Mbwana locally and Joseph Kahn. This Guys Made me join the Film Industry.

He joined the entertainment industry on 26 May 2006. His trade name VJ, is short for Video Jockey. He is also a club DJ who produces mainly dancehall and house music.

Some of the videos he has produced include Lubwa by TayGrin, Nakupenda by Well kay, Serenade and Overload by Hazel Mak and many others.

Besides producing music/djing and videos, he is a graphic designer, photographer, video director, programmer and an entrepreneur.
