Call for applications: Street art projects for China
ArtBirds, a Chinese-French association in China, is calling on artists to submit street art project proposals for outdoor performances between April and June 2020.
Since 2013, ArtBirds has invited about 180 foreign artists to perform about 100 different shows on more than 700 platforms in various Chinese cities including Shanghai, Wuzhen, Beijing, Lijiang, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Chongqing, Xi'an, Guiyang and Linhai.
“We take part in several outdoor festivals in China so we launch a call for artists who would like to perform in China,” ArtBirds said. “Our Sino-French team is working for programming, festival coordination, consulting and co-production to facilitate the artistic development of art in public spaces in China.”
The application deadline is 31 January.

- Simple to transport by plane.
- Adapted to the Chinese public (without words)
Remuneration
ArtBirds will offer the selected participants with the following:
- Performance fee.
