TheProof

TheProof (real name Jonathan B. Sinyangwe) is a gospel artist from Zambia. He is also rapper, singer, and songwriter. He named himself TheProof because he believes that he is the proof that Jesus is alive and he abides in him. He is the son of Pastor Sunday Sinyangwe. He was inspired into rapping by his cousin Chanda while he was 13 years old. Since then, his love for music began growing; he saw himself playing drums and began to as a drummer in church.

In 2008, while he was a member of the O.G saints, he recorded his first verse of a song called ‘Praise the Lord’. Since then, he began recording quite a number of songs. In July 2015, he began recording at Radio Café with one of Zambia's best producers known as Mag44. This was followed by the release of two singles titled ‘Follow Follow’ featuring Mag44 and ‘Mumani Ona’ featuring Pompi. The singles were well-received and received massive airplay from local radio stations such as Radio Christian Voice.
