Singer-songwriter Aila Voice’s Tanzanian music infuses smooth R&B vocals and Tanzanian Riddim into contemporary reggae (Dancehall) and worldbeat rhythms – creating a unique brand of world music and soulful sound that inspires and uplifts your spirit.

Aila Voice’s upcoming EP, it’s another addition to her creative ability to bring eclectic music to the world for your enjoyment.

Born and raised in Arusha where her music career started as a passion which led later to her thinking of become a performing artist live on stages. As a result, the talented young songstress started performing live for her school’s numerous events gaining confidence on stage.

In the year 2012 she moved Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where she attended college, Institute of Finance Management (IFM), where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2015. While in IFM, Aila Voice continued her interest in music which occasionally performed during different events for that college. Upon graduating, Aila Voice started performing in various gigs in Dar es Salaam starting her musical career.

Aila Voice’s talent as a songwriter you can hear it from her early recordings. In her debut album “Onene,” of which she wrote many of the songs in that album as well as co-wrote with different songwriters and co-produced few of her songs including “Onene” the title song and “Mndani Wangu” which she was nominated for The Best Female Reggae genre in Tanzania Music Awards 2021 in March of 2022. However, at the time of this writing, the awards results still pending which will take place at Julius Nyerere International Conference Center on 2 April 2022 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
