Attih Soul

Attih Ekpenyong, popularly known as Attih Soul is a Nigeria born Singer and Songwriter, currently based in Barcelona, Spain.

Attih was born on the 13th of February, In the city of Calabar, in Cross River State, Nigeria. He currently holds Double Masters degrees in International Talent Management and Leadership from Catholic University of Murcia and Barcelona Executive Business School. In addition to these degrees, Attih also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biochemistry from University of Calabar, Nigeria.

Music

Attih always loved to sing from childhood and often listened to the likes of Mariah Carey, Boyz 2 Men, KC & Jojo, Celine Dion among others. In 2012, he grew more passionate about music, started singing more, and participated in various singing competitions, like Voice of Cross River, Nigerian idol among others. Over the years, he gathered lots of experience from performing at various live events. In 2017, Attih Soul traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa for his first international concert, after which he was called upon to write and perform the theme song for Nigeria's Democracy Day on May 29th, 2017. This event was held at the Presidential Villa and Attih Soul was honored to have performed before the President of Nigeria, his entire cabinet, and dignitaries from all over the world. In 2018, Attih Soul put together a team of musicians (The A-Team) and performed at the ''World Music Day'' music festival at the ''French Institute'' in Nigeria. ''Attih Soul and the A-Team'' were the obvious Crowd favorites and were voted the ''Best Performing Group'' of the Festival. Still in 2018, ''Attih Soul and The 'A-Team' were again invited to co-headline a concert at the French Institute with French Band ''Soft Machines''. Attih Soul has performed on the same stages as famous Nigerian artists such as ''Davido, Falz, Teni, Jesse Jags, Timi Dakolo, Styl Plus'' and many more. Attih Soul has so far had a promising music career. After moving to Barcelona to further pursue his musical career, Attih has since been reported to have performed at a lot of concerts, both as a solo act and with his band: “The Blues Gamblers”, where he is the Lead Singer. Attih Soul has fast become a household name in Barcelona. In May 2020, Attih Soul registered for the International music festival: “Road to Yalta” and was among the final participants selected from all around the world. In September 2020, Attih Soul performed at the finals of the Road to Yalta Music Festival, which was held in Yalta, Russia. His outstanding performance made him a fan favorite and caught the attention of Russian Music Legend, Lev Leshchenko, who gifted Attih Soul a Gold plated microphone, awards of recognition, and cash rewards. As of right now, Attih Soul is reported to be working on his first studio album, which he has promised is would be phenomenal.
