Bio
Benny Morgan (born Benjamin A. Owiredu) is an Afrobeat artist in Ghana.He hails from the Eastern region of Ghana in a town called Akim Oda. He is born to Grace Duah Nyarkoah, his mother and Richmond Owiredu, his father. He is known for songs like Blessings, Medi and Ohemaa.
Benny had his basic school and junior high school education at A.E.A Memorial Academy and Joduro Integrated School respectively in Akim Oda and received his senior high school education at Koforidua Senior High Technical School, where he studied general Science. He then continued to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and graduated with a degree in Bsc Mathematics.
Morgan started his musical journey as a disc jockey at the age of 14. He was known in Akim Oda as a young DJ of a pub own by his dad. In 2015 in his first year in the university he placed second in a talent competition where he amazed people by using his phone to mix songs. Benny halted the djing after a year in the uniersity and decided to be a recording artist.
His first song he recorded was titled Medi produced by one of the renowned producers in kumasi called Apya.
