Bobby Hai, a distinguished multi-award-winning creative force, stands at the helm of Haibreed Projects Synergy Limited (formerly Sauti Lab), serving as its founder and CEO. Born as Jeremiah Bobby Hai Ndackson in Kaduna State, North West Nigeria, his journey through the realms of music, film, and creative arts is nothing short of extraordinary.
Bobby's artistic odyssey began in the early '90s when he moved to Jos under the guidance of his versatile uncles, known as The BB Brothers. Despite a natural inclination towards musical instruments, Bobby's commitment and passion led him to master the guitar and keyboard. His prowess expanded into electronics, woodwork, and sound engineering, earning him a reputation as a creative genius and mentor.
The musical landscape beckoned, and as a teenager, Bobby co-founded the J. Force Band, a Gospel reggae/Pop ensemble. His dedication to professional music recording burgeoned during his tenure at Panam Music World, where he worked alongside notable figures like Big Joe, Ross Oscar, and Sam Ali. This era also marked collaborations with acclaimed filmmakers such as Izu Ojukuku and Steve Gukas.
In 2001, Bobby founded Sauti Labs, an audio production company, and ventured into filmmaking, making waves with his proficiency in video production. His hit single, "Ataka," secured a publishing deal with Questionmark Records, opening doors to collaborations with Mode 9, Street Monks, and Silver Saddih. Notably, his directorial debut for Terry tha rapman and Mode 9's "SPAZMODIC" catapulted him into the industry's mainstream, leading to collaborations with A-list artists.
Bobby's diverse creative endeavors extend to TV commercials, documentaries, and short films, underscoring his belief in the power of creativity for community development. His stint as a pioneering creative director at Ebonylife TV in 2012 exemplifies his commitment to this cause.
Furthering his expertise, Bobby pursued filmmaking studies at Cityvasity in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2014. His signature sound, "Akwaba Sauti," resonates from northern Nigeria, and his debut album, "Excuse Me My Malami," released in 2001, earned international acclaim. As a consultant/content creator for Arewa24, Bobby leaves an indelible mark by showcasing the diverse talents of Northern Nigerian creatives globally.
Presently, Bobby dedicates his time to nurturing the creative abilities of young minds across Nigeria and Africa.
