J-Ssali

Joel Ssali - better known by his stage name J-Ssali - is a Ugandan recording artist, performer, percussionist and record producer. He was born on 20 December 1991.

The recognition he's received over the past few years from both the industry and public alike has been impressive. He performed at the Laba Arts Festival (2011) and later at Zimfest in Zimbabwe. He has also shared a stage with touring Nigerian stars like Wizkid, Davido and P-Square.

His 2014 single 'Just You (gwe weka)' was well-received throughout East Africa. That year, J-Ssali completely sold out his headlining performance at Kampala's National Theater, and then put in an unforgettable live set on Urban TV's 'Urban Today', hosted by Gaetano Kagwa. He went on to perform at Sauti za Busara in Zanzibar. He has released one album to date, titled 'Invation'.
