Her soulful tones and animated backing vocals create a mood that pulls the people into the capturing scene of the musical story unfolding. This chapter was released on soundcloud (Jalettua Nuune). Jae Nuune has proceeded to work with various independent producers like Blister Joy Pop (Qwa - Qwa), Sibusiso Maisela (East Rand), Joint Pusher (Soshanguve) and others around South Africa, landing her first major appearance at the Music Imbizo in Durban.
In 2021 Nuune and Pusher released a music video for her first single - Sometimes - featuring Stan B from Soshanguve, later releasing her second single - EVOLV - titled after the project released in September of that year. Alongside Joint Pusher was Monde Ndlovu who added the subtle keys to this dream - like song.

Nuune has been drawn to music since her early teen years. Being exposed to many different genres and artists made her find and learn of ways to self-express using her voice and creativity. Her writing, singing, and appreciation for performing became the three elements that allowed her to turn her passions, self - taught vocal skills and gained stage experiences into a way of storytelling and moulding herself as an artist. Her personal experiences and curious view of the world gives this cross - genre artist the freedom to fuse her sound with elements of RnB, Jazz, Old Skool flavors, Underground, Dub and native sounds - while moving from love and soothing tones to messages that are urgent and direct - making her more relatable to people of different musical tastes, which helps connect more with her audiences.
