Artiste Biography:

JAHWYZ is a budding yet focused African reggae act who is ready and set to explode on the world stage, after several years of performing in Ghana.

In a world faced with many new challenges and massive social upheaval brought about by new media, and an increasingly repressive world government, JAHWYZ represents an astounding new perspective on life for conscious people all over the world who have been awaiting a new message of hope and perseverance.

JAHWYZ has exactly such a message.

JAHWYZ the messenger is an embodiment of the message he represents. He lives the message and walks the talk. He is humble and soft spoken. His life is an example for all youth.
Son of the legendary Kwesi Ranking of the famous Ranking Crew Sound System, JAHWYZ heads the Ranking Family, with a huge following in Accra and beyond.
JAHWYZ's performances will easily remind you of great dancehall artistes like Anthony B, Sizzler Kalonji, Buju Banton as well as Taurus Riley, Chronix and the like.

Locally, JAHWYZ has collaborated with Shatta Wale, Na Yu, and Ra's Duah, based in Australia.

Currently managed by Lalibela Arts and Entertainment, JAHWYZ is putting together a collection of original tracks to be released as an EP in the near future, with an international tour planned after the release.
