Bio
Jerome Arab is a Zimbabwean rapper, singer and songwriter whose music is driven by afro-beats, trap-soul, house, dancehall and hip-hop. His music has charted internationally on the beatport EDM charts, and been played in over forty countries.
Jerome Arab has collaborated and shared the stage with several established artists, producers and songwriters, including Raekwon, 112, J.P. Cooper, Ian Devany (“Been Around the World”, Lisa Stansfield), DJ Mark One, and Cassper Nyovest. Jerome has released singles on labels including InHouse Records (USA), Stoney Boy Music (Sweden), and Killertraxx (Italy).
Jerome Arab’s 2017 four-country southern African tour (live) was accompanied by the release of 2 EPs (Learning Life and Learning Love) and a mixtape, The African Arab (Vol 1), which saw collaborations with producers including Shinko Beats (Jay Rox), Paul Kruz (Diamond Platinumz) and top UK grime artist Ice Kid. In 2018 he released two singles, Don Dada produced by Shinkobeats and My World produced by Mae Maejor (Produced for Shekhinah, Rouge, Tinashe, Dj Milkshake….) and The African Arab (Vol 2).
End of 2019 Jerome released his debut album 'Prominent' and has done over 100 000 streams on all platforms in under 4 months. The album was produced by Zimbabwean international producer and record executive Saint-Louis.
Jerome Arab is also known for his participation in Big Brother Africa (The Chase 2013 and Hotshots 2014), and for his work as a TV and theatre producer and director.
