Labule

Segun Adekunle, professionally known as Labule, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, percussionist and musician. He's plays a sound called Highfro,Highfro is a fusion of Highlife and Afrobeat backed with heavy African percussion from western Nigeria.Labule has played in and outside Nigeria.Labule performed at last year's Felabration,a yearly event aim to  celebrate the legendary Fela Kuti both at the New African Shrine and Freedom Park ,Lagos.Labule is known for wearing his simple African costume. Labule has a 10 tracked album named "Labule the Noun" to his credit.

Labule grew up listening to artistes such as King sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti and Lagbaja but Lagbaja was a big influence.Lagbaja’s style of music played a huge role in shaping Labule’s music and delivery of his message.
