LeVae

Born Lungelo N Vilakati, LeVae is a super talented South African Music Producer/Artist/Songwriter & DJ born in the capital of Swaziland, Mbabane. His musical journey began when he started making Hip-Hop beats at 13 years old after he was given a copy of Fruity Loops Studio 8 by his IT teacher in primary school. He grew fond of it and that’s when he discovered his talent. With inspiration from producers like Dr.Dre, Ryan Leslie, Jon bellion & Noah Shebib, LeVae was able to improve his craft into what it is today.

He found his love in producing his own house music after producing a remix of Ciara’s “Promise” and also Quintin Harris’s “My Joy”. In past few years LeVae has been sharpening his craft and working with a vast array of local and international artists from all genres. He continues to work on various projects one of which are two remixes of Sun-EL Musician’s ‘Akanamali’which reached 12 000 views on YouTube in the month of November 2017 and his song “ This Could Be Us” with the vocalist KWANG which was released on 1 December 2017 and is available on iTunes and Apple Music.

His main focus was production until he finally embraced stepping in-front of the microphone and is taking the country by storm one gig at a time. With a Facebook following 3000-strong and counting, the world is watching. Approaching 6 months in the making, LeVae is currently working on his debut Hip-Hop EP titled Read Between the Lines, which will be released July 2019 and promises nothing but heat.

LeVae has also shared a stage with the likes of Kwesta, Bucie ,Mafikizolo, Dj Sbu and DJ Euphonik, Black Coffee, Dj Shimza, Da Capo, Sia & Ribatone, Unplugged, Harrison Crump, Jullian Gomes, Charles Webster, Vinny da Vinci and The Muffinz to name a few.
