Lunga

Lunga, real name Lungisani, is a hip-hop artist whose music career started in 2007. Born on 27 may 1987, Lunga started his journey in music while still primary school where he was part of a school choir. He always followed local artists and publicly performed their songs. He started taking music seriously when was 19 years old. He has released a number of musical projects namely 'Mgababa Mixtape', 'SubT on the Durban Street Mixtape', 'Thelawayeka N1 EP'.

Lunga managed to perform at a number of places like Club 101, Ilfracombe (T-Man Tarven), Magabheni (sport Grounds), Umgababa New Year’s Beach festival(as an Open Mic Act) , Ryme Studios Street Shows (Umgababa area 35) , Inanda and KwaMakhutha underground hip-hop shows.

On 21 October 2016, he released a single titled 'Mtanomuntu-Lunga' ft Phindile, a young talented lady from Umgababa.
