Mabeleng Moholo

Mabeleng Moholo is a musician from South Africa who studied at Madimba Institute of African Music, Funda Centre, Soweto. He also studied a Diploma in Ethnomusicology at the Zimbabwe College of Music were he studied Mbira Dzavadzimu, Marimba, Dance, Field research, Theory. Percussion, Akandinda/Amadinda Worked with different artists including Simphiwe Dana, Gloria Bosman, Zonke, Nduduzi Makhathini, Pops Mahommed, Lion King musical, Gumboots musical just to name a few. In 1994 he participated at the 100 Drummers for the first black president Dr. Nelson Mandela. 2013 open his company called Bele's Production and Services (Pty)Ltd which manufacture and repairs indigenous instruments, Workshops, and performance. 2015 performed a solo performance called Medumo Ya Africa which later got him funding from ConcertsSA where he toured Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and South Africa. Did some music workshops Soweto Theatre and different communities. 2019-2020 he got funding from the National Arts Council where he had to tour 3 provides Gauteng, North West and Free State with his project called Medumo Ya Africa Indigenous Music in School where he was introducing different indigenous instruments in Primary Schools
