Njabulo Nkabinde

Njabulo is a passionate talented gospel musician based in Johanesburg. He is also known as the son of the well-known producer and pastor, Jabu Nkabinde, and his wife Yolisa Nkabinde. Music has been a big part of his life growing up under the wing of his father music was inevitable. He began singing at the age of 7, then producing (under the influence of his father) at the age of 11 and at the age of 19 had his first professional performance under the leadership of Lindelani Mkhize. However, among his multiple skills and talents Njabulo is also a qualified Architect, having obtained his Bachelors degree at the university of Witwatersrand.

Njabulo Nkabinde's music journey began when Lindelani Mkhize found him via an online audition for the Ignite Concert. The concert then toured from Johannesburg Theatre up to the Moses Mabhida stadium, where Njabulo was further interviewed on community radio stations. Following that he was featured on the Fashion Meets Gospel concert where he shared the stage with well-known names such as Ntokozo Mbambo, Dr. Tumi, Hle Ntombela and Rorisang (just to name a few).

This then opened the opportunity for him to be a guest artist and appearance on the SABC 1 talk-show 'Mzansi Insider' hosted by Rorisang. Thereafter, he received recognition from the International and trending USA pastor, Micheal Todd , when he won the 'Life is Music' challenge.

Following this breakthrough he then put together a team of creatives who would help him create his online concert 'Revive series' which has currently aired 2(two) episodes on Youtube. With the help of JAYs Music Studios (JLYMM) he has also received more than 55 000 views for his weekly releases of Acoustic Tuesdays on Instagram and TikTok.

Njabulo's mission and goal is to bring transformation into people's everyday lives and spaces, such that people are triggered to do the same wherever they may be. He aspires to achieve this by the consistent and intentional output of powerful music with powerful lyrical content. Driven by the testimonies he receives, Njabulo aspires to stretch his reach to a global context and transform as many minds as possible.
