Nneko Blacknote Moshoeshoe

Nneko Solomon Moshoeshese is a rising talent in the South African music scene. Born with an innate passion for music, Nneko began his musical journey at the age of 19, studying Performing Arts at Central Johannesburg College with a focus on Popular and Jazz music.

As a pianist and performer, Nneko has had the privilege of sharing the stage with notable artists, including Spoek Mathambo at the Standard Bank Jazz Youth Festival. His impressive resume also includes performances alongside Morena Leraba at the Bassline Festival (2021) and Reggae Festival (2022), as well as a show-stopping appearance at the Mieliepop Festival (2023).

Awards and accolades have followed Nneko's dedication to his craft. He was a proud recipient of the Jazz Runner-up award at the prestigious Stellenbosch Jazz Band Competition as part of the acclaimed Big Four Jazz Band.

Currently, Nneko is pursuing his Music Performance degree at Tshwane University of Technology, where he is in his third year. With his talent, passion, and commitment to his art, Nneko Solomon Moshoeshese is an artist to watch in the years to come.
